🇨🇬 BVR CULTURE: A successful 3rd edition in Brazzaville! ✨

On October 17, 2026, Bouger.Vivre.Réaliser (BVR) celebrated the third edition of BVR Culture in Brazzaville, at the Hôtel Lancaster, around the theme: “Textiles as a shared memory for African cultures”.

After two editions held in France, this first edition on the African continent was a wonderful moment of sharing, knowledge transmission, and celebration of our intangible cultural heritage.

Through four panel discussions, our speakers highlighted the richness of African textile traditions, artisanal skills, opportunities for young people, and the role of entrepreneurship in local development.

All the items displayed are from my brand, Sako Couture.

🎁 A QUIZ, SHARING, AND PRIZES TO BE WON!

This edition also featured a quiz on African textiles and cultures. The best teams were rewarded with beautiful pagnes (traditional African fabrics) offered by our partner Les Palmiers. A big thank-you to our partner for this gesture, which brought together cultural discovery, team spirit, and the celebration of our textile heritage. 🇨🇬✨

A special tribute to Jean-Marie CALVAH, aged 88, whose presence reminds us how precious it is to celebrate our artisans, their talents, and their commitment, which continue to thrive across generations. We thank him for inspiring us through his journey and demonstrating the power of passing knowledge on to others.

Thank you to our speakers and moderators:

Jean-Marie CALVAH, panelist
Jéremina GAKOSSO ITOUA, moderator
Sakia LEKOUNDZOU, panelist
Penda SAKO, panelist
Fleuriane PANGHOUD, moderator

Our sincere thanks to our partners: Hôtel Lancaster, Vival, Les Palmiers, and Sako Couture, for their contribution to the success of this edition.

Thank you also to all participants for their presence, enthusiasm, and the quality of the discussions.

Thank you to the Republic of the Congo and to everyone who contributed to making this gathering a memorable occasion.

This edition reaffirms our belief: preserving our heritage means passing on who we are and giving future generations the means to shape who we will become.

BVR Culture remains committed to creating spaces for dialogue, bringing generations closer together, and turning our cultural wealth into drivers of knowledge transmission and sustainable opportunities.

🇨🇬 Brazzaville, thank you for this wonderful edition!
